We were set up in memory of Emily Drouet, an undergraduate law student, who was subjected to a campaign of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) by a fellow student. Our mission is to ensure no other student ends up in Emily's shoes. We aim to achieve this through our GBV Charter, our training programmes and the resources that we share across institutions.

Emmaus Bristol helps people out of homelessness and poverty. We provide a home, support, training and work experience for up to 30 formerly homeless men and women (known as Companions) in Bristol as well as family homes for those in housing need.

Emmaus Colchester provides a home and meaningful work for up to 31 people who have experienced homelessness and social exclusion. Our purpose-built community offers a comfortable home, while our shops, online store, house clearance business and warehouse, provide work and generate the funding to keep our community going.

Finding your way out of that situation isn’t easy, particularly when the only options available are temporary fixes, offering a bed for the night but little to occupy your days. Emmaus is different because it provides a home for as long as someone needs it.

Its core mission is to empower autistic young people (aged 12–25) facing mental health challenges and emotional distress by providing specialist peer support, training, and advocacy to help them build lives worth living.

Empire Fighting Chance uses non-contact boxing, coaching and therapy to support disadvantaged young people. From its Bristol base and across Wales, it helps 8–25s improve mental health, confidence and education/employment outcomes, and divert from crime through tailored programmes in gyms, schools and communities.
