The FHLTA is a voluntary organisation consisting of heart and or lung transplant recipients, families and their supporters of the Freeman Hospital located in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England.

The unwanted, abandoned, neglected and abused, the young, the old, they all deserved a second chance at life. We have provided a safe place for almost 97,000 animals in need, and still counting. Each receiving the care, love and emotional healing before re homing or release.

Fresh Futures is a regional charity that supports vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people, and their families, within Kirklees and surrounding areas.

Fresh Start help people who have experienced homelessness set up their new home through the provision of goods and services. We work to end the cycle of homelessness and for a better life for those living in poverty.

The Freshwater Lifeboat Station operates 2 lifeboats and is on call to the Coast Guard 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The FILB station covers an area up to 30 miles off shore from Hurst Point to St Catherine's point.

We have over 350 volunteers undertaking a number of roles within the hospital and in the community and we fund the staff costs of the Voluntary Services Department. Each year the charity donates between £150,000 and £200,000 worth of equipment and services to the Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.

At Friends of Cape Child, we offer targeted support for small childrens' charities in disadvantaged communities including food and accommodation assistance, educational support, and healthcare services. When funds allow a treat such as a trip to the beach or soft play is a much appreciated bonus! Our assistance is designed to meet the unique needs of each beneficiary we serve.
