The Freshwater Lifeboat Station operates 2 lifeboats and is on call to the Coast Guard 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The FILB station covers an area up to 30 miles off shore from Hurst Point to St Catherine's point.

Friends of Africa Missionary Endeavour (FAME) is a Northern Ireland-based charity established in 1996 by Rev. Alan and Irene Dunlop. It operates a "word and deed" mission in Eastern Kenya, blending humanitarian aid - like medical clinics, orphanages, and water wells - with evangelical outreach.

We have over 350 volunteers undertaking a number of roles within the hospital and in the community and we fund the staff costs of the Voluntary Services Department. Each year the charity donates between £150,000 and £200,000 worth of equipment and services to the Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.

At Friends of Cape Child, we offer targeted support for small childrens' charities in disadvantaged communities including food and accommodation assistance, educational support, and healthcare services. When funds allow a treat such as a trip to the beach or soft play is a much appreciated bonus! Our assistance is designed to meet the unique needs of each beneficiary we serve.

The aims of the Association are to raise money to pay for experiences, provide new facilities, and advance the education of the pupils’ school experience.
