1st Hartford Scout Group is part of the UK’s largest co-educational youth movement, helping young people develop physically, intellectually, and socially. Through practical, team-based activities, it encourages responsibility, confidence, and community engagement, supporting members to reach their full potential as active citizens.

We offer Scouting activities for young people aged 4 to 14.5 years old though our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts sections without discrimination. Our aim is to continue to open more sections within our group to enable all young people who would like to benefit from Scouting to do so.

We are part of the Richmond upon Thames Scout District and Greater London South West County. We are attached to St. Mary the Virgin Church, Mortlake High Street, which is part of the Mortlake and East Sheen Team Ministry.

When a family loses a child or a young adult the effects are devastating for all who knew and loved them. Our mission is to ensure that all those affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young adult aged 25 or under receive the bereavement support they need and deserve.
