We support adults impacted by Brain Injury, resulting from, but not limited to stroke, road traffic accident, trips and falls. Our aim is to improve day-to-day life for every individual we work with; to improve their confidence, independence, empower them to access community assets, to socialise, enhance their wellbeing, and to provide them with tools and techniques to manage their symptoms.

Headway East London is a local charity supporting people affected by brain injury. We support survivors, their families and carers. We work in a holistic way, favouring creative and community-based approaches backed by specialist knowledge. Because the effects of brain injury are long-term, so is our support.

Our Charity helps raise funds through various programmes and initiatives across Calderdale and Kirklees council areas, and we’d love for you to get involved with Headway Huddersfield and District. Heartbeat is a regional charity established in 1992, supporting individuals of all ages who are diagnosed with congenital and cardiovascular disease primarily by supporting the work of the Wessex Cardiac Unit based at the University Hospital Southampton. This is achieved by providing specialised equipment, services and facilities to help patients and their relatives through their cardiac journey.

Heartbeat is a Lancashire based charity established in 1978. Our purpose is to contribute to a reduction in cardiovascular disease through the delivery of services aimed at existing heart patients and those identified as at risk of developing it. Heartbeat delivers; clinical testing, rehabilitation, education, advice, support and training to children, young people and adults across Lancashire.

We exist to raise awareness of the dangers of persistent heartburn. Earlier diagnosis of a more serious problem helps save lives.

Heart Heroes work with children and their families living with heart conditions. We aim to provide services for these children, to help them meet others who are in similar situations and allow their family to talk to other families going through related experiences.

Since the Hospice opened in 1991 we have cared for over 60,000 people – patients, their carers and families, offering not just clinical support but also emotional, spiritual and social care too. Every year we care for over 1,700 patients with a terminal illness and their families living in Maidstone, Aylesford, Tonbridge & Malling and surrounding areas.
