Their mission is to improve independence, maximise financial wellbeing, and ensure individuals have control over their own lives. Since 2015, A4U has also delivered a specialist Autism Hub for autistic adults aged 18 and over.

A Bear Named Buttony
A Bear Named Buttony supports children and young people who have a stoma. For children, we gift a bear with a stoma, a book and for young adults, a wash bag full of non-medical items to help adjust to life with a stoma. We aim to raise positive awareness of living with a stoma.

We provide a volunteer rescue service for walkers, climbers and others who enjoy outdoor activities in the Cairngorms, and the hills of lower Donside and Deeside. We can also be called out to search for missing persons anywhere in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
