Aberdeen FC Ladies were formed in January 2011 with the merger of Aberdeen City, Aberdeen University, East End Girls FC and Aberdeen Ladies & Girls FC. The Club’s goals are to promote ladies and girls football in the North Region of Scotland and to provide the opportunity for a successful partnership for the City.

Aberdeen Cyrenians helps people in need, especially those who are struggling or left out by society. We focus on: helping people find and keep a place to live; offering a welcome space where people can drop in for support; and providing health and care services to improve people’s wellbeing.

Sport and health in Aberdeen

AMRT is based in Westhill, in the North East of Scotland. We provide a volunteer rescue service for walkers, climbers and others who enjoy outdoor activities in the Cairngorms, and the hills of lower Donside and Deeside. We can also be called out to search for missing persons anywhere in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.

Aberdyfi Search & Rescue Team provide a Search and Rescue service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in wild and remote locations throughout South Snowdonia and Mid Wales.

Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Team are volunteers who are on call 24/7 - 365 days a year. We help hundreds of people every year, rescuing those lost and injured in the mountains. Please give what you can.

We provide support at the earliest opportunity, giving children an equal chance, and the best possible start in life.

AberNecessities supports children across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire with the essentials they need to thrive. From everyday necessities to small comforts, we work compassionately to ensure every child feels valued and included.

A baby loss charity providing support and counselling for bereaved families as well as specialist bereavement training for midwives and healthcare professionals.

To advance, for the public benefit, the education of children and young people not older than the age of 19 years at Abingdon School and Abingdon Preparatory School or such other school as the Governors may from time to time determine.

Abortion Support Network helps people who need to access safe abortions. We provide information on clinics, travel and accommodation, and provide financial assistance to help with costs for those who need it. We work with people from across Europe in need of abortion care including France, Republic of Ireland, Malta, Poland, Hungary, Spain and Germany on a case-by-case basis.

Above & Beyond Cancer Foundation provides compassionate 1:1 support, resources, and encouragement to cancer patients and their loved ones. Our mission is to address the emotional, physical, and mental toll of a cancer diagnosis, delivering support directly to patients in non-clinical settings such as homes or local venues.

The Abshot Community Centre was opened in 1980 for use by the local community. The Centre is run and managed by a voluntary Abshot Community Association (ACA) committee and is registered as a charitable organisation. We offer a local, convenient, and well-maintained event space than is used for numerous community activities such as regular user groups, themed fun days for the family, and more!
