Whether fundraising as an individual, team, company or event organiser – we’ve got the tools to maximise your fundraise.

As well as one-off fundraising pages, GiveWheel enables ticketed fundraising, raffles and prize draws, auctions, and series fundraising. Series fundraising enables multiple participants to have their own fundraising page linked to an overall event page.

All fundraising types include 0% platform fees and the option to fundraise for an unlimited number of charities in a single event, as well as the following fundraising features: Gift Aid, QR codes, Strava integration, custom widgets, offline donations, secure payments, post and media updates, broadcast messages for donors, and multiple currencies.

FundraiserLed describes all conventional fundraising – where recipient charities are chosen upfront by the organiser. With FundraiserLed fundraising, donors can see the charity beneficiaries for the page and have no influence or control over the distribution of their donation.

DonorLed is a new feature, exclusive to GiveWheel. DonorLed flips the script on conventional fundraising and instead gives the fundraiser the power to allow their donors to choose the charity beneficiaries. With DonorLed, the fundraiser can choose how much control they wish to give to their supporters – unlimited choice, selective choice, or split choice.

We do not charge any platform fees. GiveWheel's fundraising services are provided free of charge to individuals, organisations, and non-profits alike. The only fee deducted from any donation is a payment processing fee, retained by our payment provider (Stripe). For UK cards, this is 1.2% + 20p per transaction.

To help support the operation of the platform and the continuation of these services being provided free to charities, donors are able to add an optional contribution on top of their donation. Whether adding a voluntary contribution or not, there is no difference to the service provided and we welcome all donors, irrespective of whether they choose to leave a contribution. When you make a donation, you'll have the option to tick the Gift Aid declaration option and provide your details, enabling a charity to subsequently claim Gift Aid. This declaration is compulsory for donors intending to allow Gift Aid to be reclaimed on their donation and requires the donor to acknowledge and confirm that they, and their donation, meet the necessary requirements for Gift Aid. Yes! Donations made through GiveWheel are transferred to the registered charities according to the split specified by the donor/fundraiser. Donations are disbursed monthly, even whilst fundraising events are ongoing. For this reason, it may not be possible to change the allocation on a fundraising page once donations have been received.
