Lower Moss Wood is a private educational nature reserve and wildlife hospital. It provides a place for schools, disabled visitors, environmental groups and others to come and learn about conservation and the environment. The wildlife hospital takes in orphaned, sick or injured wild animals or birds for treatment and care.

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. Maggs Day Centre

Maggs was founded in 1984 after a homeless man died after years of sleeping rough on the streets in Worcester. Five members of the local church came together in unity to provide sanctuary for the homeless to try to prevent further deaths among local homeless people. They were provided with a small church in Deansway, which, nearly 40 years later, is still the definitive Maggs Day Centre.
