We are a food charity in York serving delicious, home cooked two-course meals to the homeless and anyone in need of food or company. We operate as a pop up restaurant in the beautiful grounds of King’s Manor, every Sunday 2.30-4pm and provide toiletries, thermal essentials, pet food, support, signposting, community and a non-judgmental welcome to all.

1. To provide residential holiday and recreational facilities for the purpose of improving the conditions of life of children who are in need of such facilities by reason of disability, whether physical or mental, or of their social and economic circumstances. 2. To relieve poverty and need. 3. To encourage the study and practice of any useful branch of human knowledge.

Horatio's Garden nurtures the wellbeing of people affected by spinal injury in beautiful, vibrant sanctuaries within the heart of NHS spinal injury centres. Leading designers create the accessible gardens where the charity's team, alongside volunteers and creatives, care for people and plants alike.

Horizons Rehabilitation Centre provides an assessment and therapeutic rehabilitation service for individuals with complex needs, whose disability requires a multi-disciplinary approach.

The HSA equally wants to help develop closer links between home and school - it is an excellent way to bring parents, carers and the community together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal. It runs fundraising and community building events during the year and provides refreshments at school events such as the Winter Show.

Hospice Africa Uganda provides palliative care to critically ill patients and those with life-limiting illnesses across three sites in Uganda.
