Glossop Mountain Rescue Team
Volunteer mountain rescue charity serving Glossop, the High Peak and northern Peak District. On call 24/7, the team works with police and ambulance services to find, treat and evacuate injured or missing people in remote terrain, respond to emergencies and severe weather, and promote hill safety education.
Gloucester Cathedral
Gloucester Cathedral is not just a beautiful building, it is a living and working place which many visit each day – from schools taking part in educational activities, to tourists enjoying the heritage and local people attending a service or enjoying a moment of peace. Our responsibility is to inspire and educate, to elevate and nurture those who come.
Gloucester Child Contact Centre
The Gloucester Child Contact Centre provides a safe and neutral place where children can enjoy the company of adults from whom they are separated. We are open fortnightly on a Saturday morning 10am-12noon or afternoon 1.30pm-3.30pm. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere, with plenty of toys and you can buy refreshments.
