We're an independent charity, based in Chorley and working for the people of Lancashire. Our committed and energetic team of staff, trustees and volunteers are passionate about making a difference to the mental health of people living and working in Lancashire.

The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside was founded in 1962 by people like you who knew they needed to take action. Since then we have grown to be the largest nature conservation body in the area. We are uniquely positioned to lead change our region, working at a grass roots, local level whilst also being part of a strong cohesive movement.

Dealing with over 100 incidents per year, we are a self-funding dedicated team of 'professional volunteers' coming from all walks of life, united in their love of mountains and their wish to help their fellow mountaineers in trouble.

LAPS - Looking After Parents & Siblings are a charity that support families who have suffered the loss of a baby, during any stage of pregnancy or at birth. LAPS was created in 1995 and consists of a group of parents and professionals, based in Wolverhampton.

Latch stands for Leeds Action to Create Homes. We’re a unique charitable organisation that refurbishes derelict and run-down houses in the Chapeltown, Harehills and Burley areas of Leeds.

LATCH Welsh Children's Cancer Charity supports children receiving treatment for cancer and leukaemia at the Children's Hospital for Wales and their families.

LawCare is the mental health charity for the legal sector, offering free, confidential emotional support, peer support, and information to people working in law in the UK, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man. LawCare also advocates for improvements in mental health practices within legal workplaces, and actively leads cultural transformation through education, training, and research.

The Lake District Search and Mountain Rescue Association is the umbrella body for mountain rescue teams in Cumbria (UK).

Leaders in Community is a youth-led charity run by a group of active local young people from Tower Hamlets. We were set up in 2009 by a group of young adults who wanted to improve their local services. We have a variety of creative learning programmes aimed to empower young people in leadership and governance. The programmes run throughout the year and are free for all young people.

We support families in poverty in Leeds by providing essential baby items and equipment.

When it’s your loved one in hospital, you want the very best care, equipment and research to be available. Our NHS staff already do an incredible job caring for patients and your support can help them do even more.

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Leeds Rhinos Foundation is the official charity of Leeds Rhinos Rugby League club. Its purpose is to Change Lives Through the Power of Sport. At its core is the belief that by giving people, especially the most disadvantaged and often ignored, more opportunities to engage in meaningful activities there is much more chance to improve those peoples lives.

Established in 1974, Leeway is an independent charity providing support to adults, young people and children who are experiencing domestic abuse in Norfolk and Suffolk. We operate eight safe houses and people experiencing domestic abuse and their children are welcome to stay as long as necessary to secure a future free from a dangerous partner.

Legend on the Bench raises funds to install benches in public places raising the awareness of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention. Each bench, that is lit up at night, has details of organisations able to listen and help in times of need.

Leicester Hospitals Charity exists to support patients, their carers, and the NHS staff who look after them in Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and beyond.

We believe Leicestershire and Rutland should be rich in wildlife for the benefit of everyone - with more wildlife, more wild places and more people having a strong connection to nature. For over 65 years we have been saving wildlife and wild places, increasing people’s awareness and understanding of the natural world, and deepening people’s relationship with it.

We provide support for people living with MS or similar illnesses through oxygen therapy, holistic therapy and physiotherapy. As well as physical treatment, we’re also here to support the mental wellbeing of those with MS or similar illnesses. During our opening times, we welcome anyone in for a coffee and a chat.

LeicSAR is a lowland search and rescue unit operating throughout Leicestershire and Rutland. We are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our primary role is to assist the Police in the search for vulnerable missing persons in urban, rural and lowland areas. This includes children, the elderly or those suffering from an illness including dementia, depression or mental health issues.
