FareShare is the UK’s national network of charitable food redistributors, made up of 18 independent organisations. Together, we take good quality surplus food from right across the food industry and get it to nearly 8,500 frontline charities and community groups.

FareShare Greater MAnchester (EMERGE 3Rs)

FareShare Greater Manchester, is fighting hunger and tackling food waste locally. Using surplus food that would otherwise go to landfill, we redistribute it to over 300 community groups, supporting 35,000 people weekly, contributing nearly 5 million meals annually to where it’s needed most.

We are Felixstowe's independent lifeboat and a founder member of the National Independent Lifeboat Association (NILA). This local charity that has been saving lives and performing rescues amongst one of the busiest seaways in the UK since 1997. Our dedicated group of volunteers ensure that Felixstowe and the surrounding area remain safe through regular patrols and promoting sea safety.

Ferne Animal Sanctuary

Ferne Animal Sanctuary was founded by the late Nina, Duchess of Hamilton & Brandon at the beginning of the Second World War. Her aim was to provide a temporary refuge for the animals belonging to service men and women, who were shipped abroad to fight. Inevitably at the end of the war many owners failed to return to collect their pets. So the story of Ferne Animal Sanctuary began.
