Cherish, a registered charity, is the parents support group linked to the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital. It was founded in 1987, with the encouragement of the staff of SCBU, by a group of parents who had all had babies in need of special care, and is a voluntary organisation.
