We are the official charity for Birmingham Children's Hospital and Birmingham Women's Hospital, raising money to provide extra benefits for patients and their families, including new equipment, education and training, and improving hospital surroundings. We also award grants for research.

We support parents experiencing psychological distress after traumatic birth.

After school each day and in some of the school holidays BLAP runs programmes for local children that supports them as they play inside and in our halls.

Blackburn and Darwen Youth Zone is a 21st century Youth Zone located at the heart of Blackburn, open to young people aged 5 to 25 years old, aiming to change the prospects offered to young people in the area. Offering a state-of-the-art £5 million facility, young people have a space which provides “Somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to”.

Black Country Brighter Lives is the registered charity for Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust - the lead provider of mental health, learning disability and autism services across the Black Country. It exists to add extra value to the services that we are funded to provide to our patients, their families and our amazing staff that care for them.

We work closely with local residents in Southwark’s SE1 community, as well as the wider area, to create opportunities that enhance quality of life and foster a more inclusive community. By recognising and celebrating diverse needs, we aim to build a strong sense of belonging and create a safe, supportive environment that empowers individuals to connect with and contribute to the wider community.

Black Girls Do Run UK is a community dedicated to supporting and encouraging Black women to run, walk, and move in ways that feel right for them. It creates a safe, inclusive space where women of all abilities can connect, build confidence, and experience the joy of movement

The Black Heart Foundation has a long history of supporting initiatives which create and improve educational access, learning, aspiration and achievement for underprivileged children around the world. Its primary goal and focus is to remove any and all barriers to the aspiration and achievement of the young people it hopes to serve.

Raising funds for school

Black Minds Matter UK is a fully registered charity connecting Black individuals and families with free therapy by qualified and accredited Black therapists. We’ve teamed up with a collective of Black therapists, who work tirelessly alongside us to remove stigma and redefine mental health experiences for Black individuals.

Blackpool Food Bank is an emergency food redistribution charity to over 80 organisations in the boroughs of Blackpool, Fylde & Wyre. We supply edible surplus food to help those most in need meet in its communities. We collectively serve over 12,000 meals each week.

Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary in Lancashire provides a safe and loving home for rescued animals, including those who are elderly or unwell. Founded in 1957, it is dedicated to giving every animal a second chance and the best life possible.

Blesma, The Limbless Veterans, is dedicated to assisting serving and ex-Service men and women who have suffered life-changing limb loss or the use of a limb, an eye or loss of sight in the honourable service of our country.

Bliss exists to give every baby born premature or sick in the UK the best chance of survival and quality of life. We champion their right to receive the best care by supporting families, campaigning for change and supporting professionals, and enabling life-changing research.

Blood Bikes Wales is a 100% volunteer charity based in Wales, providing completely free courier service to the NHS, delivering blood samples, plasma, donated human milk, documents and other items all over Wales. Our service is free of charge and operates on weekdays for some health board areas and across Wales from 7pm on Friday evening until midnight on Monday morning including bank holidays.
