K&D Befriending is a local registered charity that reduces social isolation for people over 55 in the Kincardine and Deeside area by matching them one‑to‑one with trained volunteer befrienders for regular companionship and support. These visits help improve mental and physical wellbeing by offering social contact, emotional support, and opportunities to stay connected with the community.

When we started, we were predominately a soup kitchen offering a daily service throughout the pandemic but since then we have grown into much more. Our role is to support Police Scotland in delivering their public safety obligation in remote and mountainous environments. We are part of Scottish Mountain Rescue, which is made up of over 1000 volunteers throughout the country.

The club provides coaching, 2 pitches, 3 lane nets and a clubhouse at our home in Knebworth Park.
