Hospice of the Valleys cares for people living in Blaenau Gwent whose illnesses are no longer curable. We aim to care for and support people in the place of their choice, whether it is in their own homes, supported by our Hospice at Home and Community Teams, in our Out-Patient Clinic, or in the local Hospitals.

Our vision is for all patients suffering from terminal or life-limiting illness to receive specialist hospice care so that they can live and die with dignity and without pain.

We believe everyone should receive the best care at the end of life, no matter who they are.

Living with a life-limiting illness is challenging. We are here to help, whether you have cancer, heart disease or any other terminal illness. Our hospice charity supports over 2,000 adults every year, across the heart of Devon.

Hounds for Heroes is a UK-registered charity that provides specially trained assistance dogs to injured and disabled personnel from both the UK Armed Forces and the Emergency Services. Their mission is to help these heroes regain independence, confidence, and companionship.

We support women through affordable housing, help women and children escaping domestic abuse, survivors of trafficking, women leaving prison and older women.

We serve others by using unique amphibious technology, namely hovercraft, to bring aid to remote places, where people have no easy access to medical care or clean water. HoverAid Hovercraft can get to places that other vehicles can’t. Many people in the world live close to water, where there are no roads. Our hovercraft can skim over land and water to reach the unreachable.

We’re Hubbub, a creative charity that’s making environmental action make sense, for people, communities, and businesses.

We manage, (with our fabulous supporters out there) to provide both wards J88 & J89 with FREE TV which is greatly appreciated by all the patients and families. In order to rent TVs for patients in 2 wards, 40 TV places in total, costs us £26,400 a year, it would cost a patient approximately £10 a day so this helps them enormously.

Hugs Children’s Cancer Charity is a Plymouth based charity which helps families in the PL postcode who have a child with rare childhood cancers. Whether emotional support, making a memory or helping families keep in touch, Hugs Children’s Cancer Charity provides them with a place to turn.

The Hugs Foundation is a rescue and rehabilitation charity for horses, ponies and donkeys that have been mistreated, abandoned or unwanted. We are proud to be a member of the National Equine Welfare Council (NEWC) and the Equine Assisted Services Partnership CiC.

Hull 4 Heroes supports armed forces veterans and their families in Hull and East Yorkshire, helping them transition to civilian life. The charity provides practical support including housing and welfare advice, employment and training opportunities, mental health signposting, and community projects such as the planned Veterans Village.

Hull & East Riding Breast Friends (HER Breast Friends) is a local charity that provides emotional and practical support to people affected by breast cancer. Their mission is to create a positive, supportive environment, promote awareness of relevant support networks, and fund breast cancer research and treatment.

Hull and East Yorkshire (HEY) Children’s University is a charity that strives to give every child the opportunities they deserve, no matter what circumstances they were born into.

We provide support, guidance, and hope to individuals and families experiencing poor mental health across Hull, East Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire.

Hull Bullnose Heritage Group is a registered charity dedicated to preserving the history of Hull’s fishing industry and the community that shaped it. Based at the Hull Fishing Heritage Centre, we honour the legacy of the historic Bullnose and the generations of local people whose lives were built around the docks.

We collect clothing and essential items, and raise funds to support asylum seekers and vulnerable individuals in Hull and the East Riding, alongside providing limited assistance to asylum seekers overseas. We also aim to raise awareness of asylum issues through public events, talks, and participation in local festivals.
