The Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice provides free, compassionate end-of-life care and support for people with terminal illnesses, their families, and carers. They serve patients at their Abbey Wood hospice, in homes, care homes, and local hospitals.

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Greenwich Youth for Christ is a charity that has been supporting young people in and around the Borough since 1995. We’re about seeing young people’s lives changed by Jesus. We do this in a practical and relevant way, through our work in schools, churches, and in partnerships with other community organisations.

We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home greyhounds. All of our hounds stay in a foster home, not a kennel, until their forever home is found. We provide veterinary treatment and rehabilitation until they are ready for rehoming. Our dogs receive support for the rest of their lives. We are a small but dedicated rescue and fundraise for the care of our hounds.

Grief Encounter supports bereaved children, young people and their families across the UK with free, professional grief support. Services include counselling, therapy, a helpline, peer groups, resources for schools, and training for professionals, helping young people rebuild their lives after the death of someone close.

We are a small family run rescue centre. We take in stray and abused animals with the aim to rehome. Please support us, as we run entirely on donations.

Additional needs are wide ranging and could include a physical disability, a cognitive disability, a mental health problem or undiagnosed need that impacts participation in everyday activities. Growing Resilience in Teens (GRIT), is a multi award winning charity that supports young people aged 11-24 to improve their mental health and wellbeing through group boxing programmes, workshops and 1:1 coaching.

Our principal activity is to promote and assist the Church of England in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ primarily in the Diocese of Guildford.
