Hakuna Matata was founded in 2010 by Davide Serra and Anna Barassi. The majority of the projects that we support are in Central Tanzania in the Njombe region. Our aim is to invest in sustainable projects and alleviate poverty in the area.

Harry had a particular interest in potential therapeutic applications of modern genetic techniques and hoped to go on to earn a PhD and undertake research into the interplay between genomic disorders and mental health.
