We wanted to come up with a plan to support local people and organisations in the simplest way possible, so in the summer of 2022 we launched ‘The Sheffield 1000 Charity’. The concept is simple... we’re aiming to get 1000 people donating £1 each week. The money would be used to support local charities and good causes with a £1000 donation every week of the year.
