Welcome to Bank Farm, where we strive to improve the lives of disabled children through teaching them to ride. This gives them confidence, freedom, and a sense of responsibility, both through riding, and in their interactions with the ponies and people on the ground.

To provide specially adapted vehicles for the use of persons whose disability confines them to a wheelchair, to allow them to undertake journeys for pleasure or necessity which might otherwise be impossible. It also assists other Charitable Organisations with similar objectives.

BARB Search & Rescue, founded in 1992 as Burnham Area Rescue Boat, is an independent charity run by a dedicated team of local volunteers. We operate two rescue hovercraft and two inshore rescue boats. BARB is on-call 24/7 & our team has saved hundreds of lives over the years, responding to a wide range of emergencies.
