Sheppey Unit 301 of the Sea Cadet Corps
"The Sea Cadets" teach children & young adults a variety of skills modelled on the Navy . Pipe and drill, marksmanship, cook stewardship, handling all manner of boats. Cadets learn to work as a team, building confidence & healthy competitiveness against other units.

Supporting families who have a child with Down Syndrome is at the heart of what we do. We believe that parents are pivotal to their child’s development. That’s why we work closely with parents and carers to offer advice, support and reassurance ensuring they are adequately equipped to help their child reach their full potential.
Shine A Light Support Service
Supports children and young people with cancer, and their families, across Coventry and Warwickshire. From diagnosis through treatment and beyond, it offers emotional, social and practical help via its Rugby hub, including groups, activities, wellbeing services, information and bereavement support.

We are a charity founded by a family that have experienced childhood cancer and all the upheaval it causes. We understand how difficult it is for every member of a family when a child is diagnosed with cancer. We know the trauma childhood cancer causes and want to support the child, their siblings, parents and even grandparents.
Shine Cancer Support
Shine is the only UK charity that support adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s who have experienced a cancer diagnosis. There is never a good time to have cancer, but we know that younger adults face different issues than their older or younger counterparts. Many of these are not dealt with by traditional cancer support charities and services.
