That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

Aplastic Anaemia is a rare life-threatening auto-immune disease that stops the bone marrow from producing blood. The Aplastic Anaemia Trust is the only charity in the UK focused on aplastic anaemia. We fund research to improve treatment, provide expert information, and work tirelessly, at grassroots level, to support every aplastic anaemia patient and their loved ones.

The Bay Foodbank is one of the largest independent foodbanks in the country and the only foodbank serving the entirety of North Tyneside. We provide emergency parcels to those experiencing crisis in North Tyneside. A typical day will see us providing 40-45 emergency parcels, directly supporting more than 90 people.
