Surrey Drug and Alcohol Care Limited (SDAC) is a registered charity founded in 1986. We offer a Helpline open to callers, Monday to Friday, from 9am to 9pm. We help and support anyone who is concerned about the problems that drugs, alcohol or mental well-being cause. We support those with problems or their parents, siblings or friends. Whatever you are going through, we can help.

We are the only organisation offering peer-to-peer support to all those over the age of 18, impacted by suicide loss in the UK. We help those bereaved by suicide to support each other, at the time of their loss and in the months and years that follow. We work together with the NHS to help make life better for cancer patients in Sussex – providing equipment and services that make a tangible difference for patients who are often on a difficult and stressful journey. Sustrans is the charity making it easier for people to walk and cycle. We are engineers and educators, experts and advocates. We connect people and places, create liveable neighbourhoods, transform the school run and deliver a happier, healthier commute. Sustrans works in partnership, bringing people together to find the right solutions.

We aim to get as many people enjoying the outdoors and participating in outdoor activities as possible. We run a number of charitable projects, providing fully or partially funded opportunities for people in Sutherland. As a social enterprise, we continue to be open to all and offer our services to locals and visitors.

Working with an organisation in Uganda called Suubi-Africa to provide a home for orphaned, abandoned, deprived children and their supporting families, also other disadvantaged members of the community where operating.

Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team provides a mountain and cave rescue service within the Swaledale and Wensleydale areas of North Yorkshire. The team is made up of a group of highly trained volunteers who are available to be called out for a variety of land based search and rescue operations, any time day or night, 365 days a year.

SWELL Supported We Live Life is a Fermanagh based Cancer charity providing support services and activities for local people affected by cancer.

We provide free swimming lessons and drowning prevention education to underprivileged children who live along the earth’s open water: rivers, lakes and oceans.

We have been supporting people with Down’s syndrome, their families and carers and all those with an interest in Down’s syndrome since the group was founded in 1984.

We enable young men to find a way out of the justice system and build a stable, rewarding life they can be proud of.

Switchboard has been equipping the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies with information and support for five decades. Through all the crises, celebrations and changing attitudes, we’ve been a clear and unmistakable voice. Today, we continue to channel this spirit in ways that champion our community, spread vital knowledge and inspire change.

Over the last 10 years, Syria Relief has provided aid to 9.4 million people in need.

After 36 years as a charity run completely on a voluntary basis, we continue to raise funds exclusively for the Yorkshire Heart Centre at Leeds General Infirmary, St James's hospital and its units within The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
