The hardest event I've ever done! But I did it! 7.5 miles, 5hrs 53mins constant swimming. My longest ever swim and came second in the age category (non-wetsuit)!! Missed out on 1st by 118 seconds.
Brutal is how I sum that up. I ran out of energy and was very cold at times but somehow crossed that finish line! 🏊♀️
Back to back weekend. 10k run day after 6k swim.
Event 8 ✔️ Wace Morgan Shrewsbury 10k
Hot and hilly route today on tired legs but I did it. 💪
Event 7 ✔️ 6k - Nofiad Mawr Cymru. The Big Welsh Swim. 🏊♀️
My first ever podium place! 3rd overall, 2nd Female in non-wetsuit Category 😊😍 🏊♀️

What a beautiful route this was. Still struggling through this distance but I still did it!
The feeling of achievement is something else! Supporting my own health and well being whilst making people aware of the support out there!
Doesn't get easier ! Hottest day of the year so far and somehow ran a fair chunk of this event! Hopefully it will get easier!

This was event 2 out of my target 12.
This was tough but it kick started the challenges! Long way to go!
The first 10k was postponed but I took opportunity to train! This was supposed to be my first ever event - this was postponed - to my birthday!
But I still got out and made the distance.
Getting out on top of a my normal day has been a bit of a challenge but I did it. I started running again this month. A long way to go before I can say I'm ready for my big event but it's a start!
