Hi, I am racing the 2024 Aberdeen Runway Run.

The Aberdeen Runway Run 2024 will support the following two LOCAL charities:

** AberNecessities **
This charity provides disadvantaged families with the essential and basic necessities that no child should go without.

** Forget-Me-Not Club **
This charity aims to provide a flexible, accessible, approachable and professional respite service to our members and their carers across all aspects of our provision.

My primary objective is to raise awareness (not fundraising) of the many disability sports organisations in Scotland and in the Grampian Region.
Scottish Disability Sport (SDS) is the overall coordinating organisation.
Under the SDS umbrella are many sports organisations of which I will promote a few closer to home;
> Scottish Disability Sport
> Grampian Disability Sport - Many regional sport activities are organised by GDS
> Finding Your Feet - National platform charity for amputees
> Grampian Inclusive Cycling Bothies - Para cycling throughout the region
> Aberdeen Amateur Athletic Club - Where I am learning wheelchair racing skills, leading me to this extraordinary and exciting event
> Aberdeen Sports Village - The most complete sporting facilities for everyone
