About Water for Kids
Water for Kids aims to improve the health and wellbeing of children and communities in low-income countries, through the provision of safe water, good sanction and other related public health measures, where current provision is absent or inadequate. We currently work in Uganda and Zambia transforming lives with clean water.

Clean water is the foundation of good health, enabling communities to thrive by reducing disease, improvingneducation, and fostering economic development. The ongoing climate crisis, characterised by severe droughts, rising temperatures and changing rainfall patterns, is not only reducing access to clean water, but also creating conditions for waterborne disease like cholera and diarrhoea to thrive. The need for our projects is urgent. Since 1996, Water for Kids has transformed the lives of over 474,500 people in over 269 communities in nine countries, through the provision of safe water, good sanitation and other public health measures.
