GiveWheel

How GiveWheel Operates

GiveWheel provides technology and services that make it easier for people, businesses and organisations to raise money for charitable causes.

01

How donations work

When you make a donation through GiveWheel, you select the charitable organisation or purpose you want to support. GiveWheel processes the payment and arranges for the charitable amount to be applied for the benefit of the selected organisation or purpose.

Depending on the campaign and the organisations involved, GiveWheel may use different payment or charitable-distribution providers to process or distribute funds.

Where a fundraising campaign supports more than one organisation, the way donations are allocated will be shown on the relevant fundraising page.

02

Donor Assist

GiveWheel's Donor Assist service allows fundraising for eligible charitable organisations that do not have an active GiveWheel account.

Where Donor Assist applies, GiveWheel can arrange for funds to be distributed to the relevant organisation through an approved charitable-distribution route, without the organisation needing to register with GiveWheel.

03

Charity accounts

Charities and other eligible Beneficiary Organisations can register with GiveWheel to access additional fundraising, reporting and engagement features.

A charity does not need to have a GiveWheel account simply because someone uses GiveWheel to fundraise for it and can instead receive funds passively through Donor Assist.
