At Big C, we see first-hand the impact cancer has on individuals, families, friends and communities across Norfolk and Waveney. Since 1980 we’ve been dedicated to the fight again cancer and today, we help thousands of people affected across our county, while working to improve outcomes for the future.

Through our cancer support and information centres, funding research projects at the Norwich Research Park, purchasing medical equipment for local hospitals and our education programme, we make a direct difference to the lives of local people affected by cancer. We are the only organisation offering specialised, community-based cancer support centres in Norfolk, with centres in Kings Lynn, Great Yarmouth and Gorleston, the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital as well as Norwich City Centre. None of this would be possible without the generosity of the local community.

Big C is an entirely independent charity; all our work is funded by donations, fundraising and legacies and all funds raised stay in Norfolk and Waveney.

Every year more than 8000 people in Norfolk will be told that they have cancer and many more are living with the effects every day.
