Let’s Talk About Loss supports young people aged 18-35 who are bereaved. Whoever you’ve lost, we are a safe space to talk about that loss in a fun, relaxed environment.

Beth French set up Let’s Talk About Loss after she lost her mum when she was 20. Her grief made her feel lonely and confused, so she set up Let’s Talk About Loss to create a space where grief wasn’t a taboo subject.

We run meet ups across the UK for young people aged 18-35 encouraging everyone to talk about grief. 77% of 18-35 year olds have experienced grief yet 39% feel “uncomfortable” talking about it. Our meet ups are here to help: 100% of respondents said they wanted to attend another meet up again soon!

Your Impact

There are lots of ways to support the work of Let’s Talk About Loss, including buying our products, attending events, and spreading the word about our cause. But as we seek to grow and offer all 18-35 year olds the chance to come to a meet up in their local area, we need to fundraise, so one of the best ways you can support us is financially!

£5

Pays for a young griever to attend mini golf with other young grievers and get to chat in a safe space

£12

Buys one of our volunteers a branded t-shirt so that it's easy for newcomers to spot us

£25

Hires a venue for an hour so the group can meet undisturbed and share openly about their loss
