About SPACE NORTH EAST CIC
We are a Community Interest Company, based in Sunderland who's sole aim is to reduce suicides in men in the North East of England. We do this through weekly, free talking groups, educational events, online seminars, retreats and cultural events.
Our Founder, James Fildes suffered with depression for 10 years and was suicidal. for 2 of those years, almost taking his own life. This experience spurred James on to dedicate his life to supporting his fellow men in the North East, so they always have somewhere to go.
Your Impact
So far, we have hosted over 100 hours of free, support groups for men, helping over 30 individuals over the course of the past 9 months. Our aim is to reduce suicides in the north east by half, by the year 2030.
Your donation, will go towards our running costs for the year and will help us to establish further programmes of support in the North East and ultimately reach more men.
