National Energy Action (NEA) is the national fuel poverty charity. We've worked across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland for over 40 years, to ensure that everyone can afford to live in a warm, healthy home. Together with frontline practitioners, companies, regulators and governments, National Energy Action works to support vulnerable clients, raise awareness and achieve enduring change.

Your Impact

Everything we do is to support households in fuel poverty, to raise awareness of their circumstances and needs and to be an agent of change for enduring solutions.

For National Energy Action, supporting clients means more than delivering outcomes for those who find their way to us directly. It means seeking out those people and communities who fall through the gaps in provision. We work with local organisations to support marginalised communities and with health professionals to connect with patients. Across our events and advice in 2024-2025 we reached over 30,000 of the UK's most vulnerable people.
