Kangaroos Mid Sussex

Kangaroos, a registered charity based in Mid Sussex since 1994, provides a range of fun, inclusive social and leisure activities in our local community for nearly 400 children, teenagers and adults with learning disabilities as well as additional physical, sensory, medical conditions and behavioural difficulties. We run Saturday and Holiday Clubs, after school clubs and evening programmes throughout the year. In addition we offer a substantial family support programme which includes networking, 0-5 play and stay dates, family fun days and trip outs plus sibling only events. The charity's Vision is a future where people with learning disabilities are valued and accepted by all and our Mission is to enrich the lives of individuals enabling them to thrive without limits. We are a family-centred disability charity offering a safe and supported environment. We aim to push boundaries, offer fun and friendship, and to build independence, confidence, and self-esteem. We call it the ‘Kangaroos Way’.
