Headway London supports people rebuilding life after brain injury through specialist rehabilitation, creativity and community across 17 London boroughs. Every year we help over 950 people regain confidence, independence and purpose, ensuring no one has to face life after brain injury alone.
About Headway East London
Brain injury can affect memory, communication, mobility, emotions and identity, leaving many people isolated and struggling to navigate everyday life. At our fully accessible Hackney centre, members take part in art, music, exercise, gardening, cooking and peer support, while our specialist teams provide one-to-one support, therapy, hospital outreach and practical advice for survivors and their families.
We believe recovery is about much more than medical rehabilitation. Through meaningful activities, friendships and opportunities to contribute, our members rediscover their strengths and rebuild fulfilling lives. Whether someone is returning home from hospital or living with the long-term effects of brain injury, Headway London offers a place to belong, grow and thrive.
