AberNecessities exists to ensure every child has the basic essentials they need to thrive. From maternity bundles to clothing, nappies, toys, books & equipment for children aged 0–18, AberNecessities provides underprivileged families in North East Scotland practical items every child needs, alongside small comforts that bring reassurance and moments of joy when they need it most.

We work in close partnership with professionals across health, education and social care who understand the individual needs of the families they support. Through this trusted network, support is delivered thoughtfully, fairly and always with dignity.

This collaborative approach allows us to focus on providing essential items and small comforts, while the professionals supporting each family continue to offer the guidance and care they may need.

Across our communities, many families continue to face challenging circumstances and the need for practical support remains significant. With the support of our community, partners and volunteers, AberNecessities is able to continue being there for local families when it matters most.
