United Response

We support adults and young people with disabilities to live the life they choose.

About United Response

We are an established charity with an excellent track record in supporting young people and adults with a range of mental health needs and disabilities – which include learning disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury, sensory impairments and dementia.

Our mission is to ensure that people with learning disabilities, mental and physical support needs have the opportunity to live their lives to the full.

Our vision is a society where everyone has equal access to the same rights and opportunities.

We were founded in 1973 with just one service in West Sussex.

We now support around 2,000 people, work in 400 locations across England and Wales and employ more than 3,500 staff.

Your Impact

Your donation will have a huge impact on the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in the UK.

£12

Could pay for an hour of job coach support to help someone with autism into a job.

£22

Could help run a taster sign language session within the local community widening communication for many people we support.

£60

Could pay for tools for people we support to use on one of our horticulture projects such as Boscawen Farm in Truro, or our allotments in Bristol and Blackpool.
