We resettle refugees in the United States, whilst supporting refugee integration in the UK and Europe. Bangladesh Nearly 1 million Rohingya have fled violence in Myanmar's Rakhine State to Cox’s Bazar, a district in Bangladesh. The IRC is responding with health care, protection for vulnerable women and children, and emergency support for the refugees. Syria The International Rescue Committee provides lifesaving support to Syrians struggling to survive after 11 years of war. South Sudan Despite a 2015 peace deal, the world's newest nation remains engulfed by violence and on the verge of a hunger crisis.
