Three Peaks Challenge
The 6 of us are going to try our best to complete The National Three Peaks challenge on 2nd June. Our hope is that we will summit Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon all within 24hrs. Apart from the physical challenge, we will have to endure each other’s company in a mini bus between the peaks, which is probably rather more difficult than the climb! We will set off at 5am on Friday morning and hope to be finished before 5am on Saturday.
We want to raise as much money as we can to split between two charities, The Rosemary Foundation and The Royal Marsden. The Rosemary Foundation provide completely free palliative care at home for patients at the end of their life, providing both patients and family members, who have become careers, invaluable support and kindness. The Ramage Family benefited from their service in the final weeks of Nigel’s life and hope to ensure others get the same service in the future.
The Royal Marsden is a centre of excellence with an international reputation for ground-breaking research and pioneering the very latest in cancer treatments and technologies, as well as specialising in cancer diagnosis and education. Ben Simpson was cared for here and we want to ensure they continue to support other families, as well as develop new treatments to help fight against this terrible disease.
So, we ask that you please donate generously to these two worthwhile charities and we will try our best to do our bit!
Many Thanks.
