Huiyi is doing a Half Marathon (Walk) to support Charity!
People who know me, know that I'm not a run/jog person, but I will be trying this long walk (instead of run) :) The last I jogged/ran was probably in 2014, a 10km fun run (shown in photo)! I'll do my best - and make it another once in a lifetime exercise while raising fund for charities. Thanks for your support in advance!
The Great Walk is an annual event, where Unilever employees come together by walking a full or half marathon and raising money for charity.
Over the past four years we have seen over 800 employees come together and raise over £200,000 for The Great Walk's charity partners.
In 2023 we will be walking again to raise money for Live Life Give Life and SERV Surrey & London!
Live Life Give Life aims to raise awareness of organ donation and encourage people to register as organ donors. We educate via campaigns and events, also funding initiatives to improve the welfare of (and outcome for) patients awaiting transplants, whilst also supporting their families.
SERV (Service by emergency volunteers) Surrey & London are all volunteer who give up their time to provide an incredible service, transporting blood products, urgent samples, donated breast milk and medical supplies to hospitals and milk banks across Surrey and London 365 days a year, All free of charge to our NHS!
