Digital Revolution Awards - Frankfurt Awards Ceremony and Fundraiser
The Digital Revolution Awards celebrate those that make the world of cloud technology a better place to live and work, and as part of that, we also want to give back and make the planet a better place. That’s why our in-person events raise vital funds for our charity partners around the world. All profits from our London event, including your kind contributions, will be split between St. Martin’s School in Kibagare, Kenya.
Situated in one of the poorest slums in Nairobi, St. Martin’s School offers children a safe environment where they can eat, learn and play, empowering them to build a better future. Since 1992 its many programs have helped transform the lives of its students, with some moving on to further education and creating incredible opportunities for themselves in the world of work.
The school also operates a community empowerment scheme, to help children beyond the confines of the school. This empowers the pupils’ mothers to be able to support themselves and their families. With no government funding and most pupils unable to pay school fees, the organisation heavily relies on donations to continue to exist. Funds being raised at the moment are being used to offer even more opportunities, as St. Martin’s looks to build a new secondary school for local boys.
