Hi I'm Thomas and I'm 11-years-old. I wanted to take on a challenge to help make a difference in the fight against cancer and to show that anyone can do something to support this cause. I’m also hoping to make people smile and to challenge stereotypes by wearing a dress every day for the month of November.

It shocked me to learn that 1 in 2 people will face cancer in their lifetime. Some of my own family and friends have fought this disease, but when I recently saw children receiving cancer treatment in the hospital, I realised how real and close this is for so many families. Sadly, my good friend’s dad also passed away from cancer recently, which made me even more determined to do what I can.

I’m raising funds to support cancer research in hopes of preventing other families from facing this difficult journey. I’m also fundraising for The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, who does incredible work caring for people with serious illnesses and their families.
