Tim Stockdale's Maggie's x Baltic: Charity Fire Walk
A bit about why I'm personally doing this and me. On May the 7th of this year I was diagnosed with stage 1 testicular cancer. Maggies has been a charity where I have made new friends affected by cancer in different ways. I have used this service as it was advised to me through a good friend of mine, Diana, who has been a great support to me through my journey.
My life has changed in multiple ways, I could list many but I would be here all day. But maggies has helped me rationalise what I have been through and what is to come. This has been so helpful to me when at times I was in a dark place and the support from maggies and friends and my partner Jo has been amazing.
Maggies relies on donations and they truly do amazing work, please help where you can. I would like to take this moment to make special thanks to people who have genuinally made a differance to me through this:
.Jo
.Ash and Lauren
.mum and dad
.uncle David, auntie clare and Eddie
.brothers + sister and further family
.my pals, you all know who you are
.Diana and Rury
.Mike and Lynn
.Craig and Hillary
.Mary Jo from maggies !!!
If I havnt listed you I apologise there are many of you !

Walking on hot coals, known as fire walking, is an ancient practice in various cultures. Individuals walk barefoot on burning coals, which can reach temperatures up to 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit. Firewalkers navigate the path without burns or injuries due to the coals’ insulating ash and specific mental and physical techniques. Fire walking demonstrates human resilience and serves as a metaphor for overcoming fears and challenges in life.
