Ellie and Irene’s 5k
On the 2nd of November, me and my mum will be taking part in the Run the Runway charity event, running the 5k in support of The Ayrshire Hospice, The Beatson, and Doing It for Daniel. .
As many of you will know, we lost my Gran Helen (wee H) on the 19th of September - who has been a character in so many of your stories and a legend in her own right. She spent her last few months surrounded by the incredible staff in the Ayrshire Hospice who not only supported Gran through this difficult time, but were a pillar of help and guidance for our whole family.
We know lots of you will have been affected by cancer which is why we want to do our bit to support these charities who make such a huge difference.
This event is from 08:00 to 11:00.
Unfortunately spectators cannot be accommodated airside but can view from the perimeter fence and Spotters Mound, which is located off Shaw Road, KA9 2RQ.
