On Saturday the 02 November 2024 we're going to run on the runway at Glasgow Prestwick Airport as a mix of 5K and 10K.
This is in support to raise money for three charities – The Beatson, Doing it for Daniel Foundation and Ayrshire Hospice. Over the recent years as a family we've had support from them and as our Nana and Papa both worked at the aerospace in Prestwick for decades it seems like an apt event!
As it November we expect dark start to the run from 08:00 - 11:00, with check in from 06:30. All participants must complete their run/walk by 11:00.
Unfortunately spectators cannot be accommodated airside but can view from the perimeter fence and Spotters Mound, which is located off Shaw Road, KA9 2RQ.
