Layla 's Weightmans Liverpool CSR's - Edale Skyline Challenge
The time has come again to put on my hiking boots and walk to raise money for an exceptional charity.
Sadly, there are over 100,000 people living with cancer in Merseyside & Cheshire. The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, provides specialist cancer treatment for many of these people, through its unique network of care across the region, caring for a population of 2.4 million people. A charity that is serving its community and supporting people during difficult times. Well worth my time and money!
This summer I will complete the Edale Skyline challenge in aid of The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity. Together with my colleagues from Weightmans we are taking on the longer route and walking a 24 mile/38 km circular ridge walk along several of the most picturesque hilltops the Peak District has to offer. The target time is a maximum of 12 hours. There is a total ascent of around 1,600m/5,272 ft, so the distance, time and ascent is similar to the Yorkshire Three Peaks that we completed last year.
