Swim for Cake
We are 3 women swimming the English Channel as a relay team in July 2023. To be able to attempt a Channel crossing is something we are very excited about, particularly as we have each undergone major surgery to overcome injuries or physical issues. This includes shoulder surgery and 2 hysterectomies in the last 18 months. We are an incredibly determined group of women. Individually and as a team we have completed a number of endurance events throughout the last year, highlighting our resilience and commitment to achieving our goals.
We are raising money for 3 charities: ‘Birth Trauma’, ‘Young Minds’ and ‘100 and First Foundation’. They are all very different charities but all very important to us and relevant to our lives and personal experiences.
