BRYAN'S 12 HR PRESS UP CHALLENGE
I'm Bryan Smallman, born and still living in Bridgnorth.
I've been an active member of Bridgnorth Rugby Club since 1984 the age of 12, as a player until 2002. Then as a coach, firstly as under 16s, then colts into seniors as assistant and finally as head coach.
Over many years I have had the pleasure of knowing many great people who have played and supported the Rugby Club moving forward to its position at level 5.
Within the progression of the club there has always been a huge amount of work and dedication by the off-field committee members to ensure the clubs successful future. No more so than the massive step to create the new clubhouse opened this year, this fantastic facility will be here for many future generations to use and enjoy. I truly believe BRFC will grow even more over these years.
At 51 I want to do my bit to help the clubs progress and will take on the biggest challenge I have done in my life, to do my bit to help raise funds for what has been the biggest challenge for those steering the clubs future.
My Goal is, On Saturday the 8th of June, starting at 6am, I will do 5 press ups at the start of every minute until 6pm that day.
300 per Hour 3600 on total.
In doing so I want to raise as much money as I can for the new clubhouse and the club, that has given me the platform to accomplish so much in rugby.
Completing the challenge in the magnificent main function room overlooking the main pitch, will help my motivation greatly. With those past and present members who have given so much over the years on and off field to create this club I hold so very dear to me.
I would very much appreciate a donation if you can to keep me going! share on social media and of course come and join me on the day to see the new clubhouse for a drink, there will be a bucket for cash donations on the day for donation.
Join me to do a few press-ups!
Your support will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you 🏉
