We are excited to announce our upcoming charity cycle ride taking place this June. Our fantastic team will be setting off on a journey from our Staines office to Paris, raising funds for two worthy charities: My Name’5 Doddie Foundation and The Fountain Centre.
Our chosen charities
Supporting Andrew Herbert: My Name’5 Doddie Foundation
Since being diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND), Andrew has done a fantastic job at sharing his experience with the team at Novuna to help spread awareness and understanding of the disease. To continue to support Andrew, we’ll be raising funds for the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation, who are committed to helping improve the lives of those affected by MND. The Foundation helps to fund grants as well as increasing education and awareness of the disease.
Supporting Lewis Smith and his wife Beth: The Fountain Centre (Royal Surrey Hospital)
A year ago, Lewis’ wife Beth was sadly diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma and thyroid cancer. To help raise funds to support Lewis and his lovely family at this difficult time, we’ll be raising money for The Fountain Centre, an independent charity located within the St Luke’s Cancer Centre at the Royal Surrey Hospital. The charity has been supporting cancer patients and their loved ones for 25 years, by providing emotional and holistic support as well as utilising their resources to inform and educate.
The riders are- Andy Murdoch, Andrew Upton, Jeremy Johnson, Geoff Wigg, James Cadman, Michael Jones, Emily Rider, Matt Taylor, Graham Lines and Isaac Kennedy.
They will be supported by Chris Powell and Teresa Slack who will be driving alongside them with food, bottles of water and shouts of encouragement!
