The Elite Backbar Runners
On Saturday June 1st the elite Backbar Runners will be running (and in some cases a fair bit of walking) the Sundridge Park West course in the Captain's charity fun run. It's a very hilly 3.6 miles, with nearly 500 feet of elevation. This team is arguably the greatest line up of middle distance runners since the days of Ovett, Coe and Cram. The aim is to raise as much as possible for the Captain's 4 fantastic nominated charities – The Freddie Farmer Foundation, Everybreath Lung Cancer Support, The Rifles Benevolent Trust and Melanoma Focus.
