Action for M.E. Page: National Three Peaks Challenge
Thank you for visiting Team Action for M.E.’s National Three Peaks Challenge fundraising page.
At Action for M.E. we're working to end the ignorance, injustice and neglect experienced by adults and children with M.E. We provide a lifeline of support to thousands of people each year, campaign to raise awareness of M.E. and work to encourage more high-quality biomedical research.
You can find out more about what we do at: https://www.actionforme.org.uk/
Starting on Saturday 11th May, the team will begin their ascent up Ben Nevis, followed by Scafell Pike and finishing at Snowdon. This is a total ascent of 3,064m and distance of over 23 miles… and we’re attempting to do this in 24-hours!
Our stoic Team Members are:
Joseph Lyons, Sav Cinotti and Jacob Wilson
What makes this endeavour particularly special is that the team will conclude their epic journey on Sunday 12th May, which also happens to be World M.E. Day. This is particularly poignant to Joe, who is embarking on this challenge inspired by his wife, Kate, who was diagnosed with M.E. 8 years ago, this has dramatically impacted her health and our wider family conditions with three young boys at home. Joe's taking this challenge on alongside Sav and Jacob to raise money in the quest to develop breakthrough treatments.
