Northampton Colour Run

Join us for the Northampton Colour Run hosted by Cynthia Spencer and The Lewis Foundation on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024, at Overstone Park in Northampton. Immerse yourself in a vibrant 5k experience as you navigate through 5 different color zones. This event is all about enjoyment! Whether you choose to run, skip, walk, or dance your way through the course, we encourage everyone to participate! It's a fantastic opportunity for individuals of all ages and fitness levels, making it a perfect family activity. As a token of appreciation, every participant will receive an exclusive Finisher’s Medal! After completing the colourful run, join us in the event village for exciting games and activities. Don't forget to visit The Lewis Foundation's pop-up Coffee shop for a delightful refreshment. This event is not just about fun; it's also a chance to support two incredible charities – The Lewis Foundation and Cynthia Spencer. About The Lewis Foundation In April 2016, Lorraine and Lee Lewis, inspired by the challenges faced by Lee's mother during her cancer treatment, founded The Lewis Foundation. Motivated to alleviate the fear and loneliness experienced by cancer patients, they started by personally packaging and delivering gifts to oncology wards. The Lewis Foundation now provides over 2,000 gifts to 17 Midlands hospitals. Patients can choose from 29 different gift packs, each filled with essentials, crafts, hydration supplies, puzzles, and more, all provided without any expectation of donations in return. The Lewis Foundations volunteers also visit individuals undergoing cancer treatment in hospital, offering invaluable support to those in need. About Cynthia Spencer Hospice Cynthia Spencer Hospice provides specialist palliative care services for West Northamptonshire, helping our patients and families live every moment. At Cynthia Spencer Hospice we provide inpatient care, outpatient services, Wellbeing services, Hospice@Home, lymphoedema service and palliative care clinical nurse specialist service. We have specialist Consultants in palliative medicine, a team of doctors and specialist nurses working within the Hospice and the community as well as in Northampton General Hospital and Danetre Hospital in Daventry. We offer specialist physical, psychological, social and spiritual care to those with life limiting illnesses. Our focus is on quality of life and respecting the uniqueness of each person.
