National & Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge
National & Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge
This year I will be completing both The National 3 Peaks Challenge AND Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge with colleagues to fundraise for Children's Heart Unit Fund (CHUF) https://www.chuf.org.uk and Aladina. Your donations mean everything to spur me on to get this done!
13th-14th June - National 3 Peaks 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft).
- Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)
- Scafell Pike, in England (978m)
- Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)
9th August - Yorkshire Three Peaks 24-miles (38.6km) round trip route, and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent
- Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres)
- Whernside (736 metres)
- Ingleborough (723 metres)
Lots of training to be done but this is great opportunity to raise much needed funds for these fantastic charities. (I’ll be hiking Scafell Pike via the Corridor route 9th March and Helvellyn at night on 13th April also as part of my preparation!)
